Our Story – Caico Cotton

Caico Cotton was founded in 2018 with a simple belief: children deserve the very finest
natural fabrics.

From the beginning our collections have been crafted from 100% Egyptian cotton, widely
recognised as the finest cotton in the world for its exceptional softness, strength and
breathability. For years our garments were sold exclusively through high-end retailers
around the world, quietly building a reputation for quality among those who value natural
materials and timeless design.

Today we are opening Caico Cotton directly to families, allowing parents to discover our
collections without the markups typically found in luxury retail.

Egyptian Cotton, Uncompromised

The cotton we use is grown along the banks of the Nile, where generations of farmers have perfected the cultivation of extra-long staple Egyptian cotton fibres. These fibres create yarns that are naturally softer, smoother and more durable than ordinary cotton.

Unlike many modern baby clothes made from bamboo blends or synthetic fabrics, Caico
garments are made from pure Egyptian cotton. Bamboo fabrics are often heavily processed and blended with other fibres, whereas Egyptian cotton remains a natural, breathable material that is gentle on delicate skin and built to last.
